Paying it forward is such a simple phrase but best describes it for me. Plus it's great to meet so many fine Seniors.  Nancy Nichols, Volunteer Driver

"If my parents were still alive and needed a ride to a doctor's appointment, I would really appreciate the transport service we offer along with a kind word, conversation, an open ear to listen and even a joke to raise their spirits."  Tom Gebhardt, Volunteer Driver

I volunteer because it makes me feel good. I love to hear how grateful the seniors in our town are for the services that we provide. The staff are wonderful caring individuals who truly care about our seniors.I could go on and on but these are some of the reasons that make volunteering so rewarding.  Daile Morrell, Office Volunteer

I have been a volunteer driver for Senior Transportation Services for the past several years. The people in the office are extremely helpful, The seniors that we transport are interesting people.  It is great fun to meet the challenge of picking up and delivering each senior safely and promptly to and from his/ her destination.  Since I started, I have always felt that I get back so much more than I give.  Susan Fitting, Volunteer Driver

I volunteer because it’s good to give to the community and paying it forward.  Rob O’Malley, Volunteer Driver

I began as a fill-in driver.  It has provided me with the opportunity to “give back” to the community.  Everyone that I have met driving has been very positive about the program.  It allows our older residents to remain active in our area and still remain in their homes.  I’ve enjoyed meeting fellow senior citizens and look forward to driving them to their destinations for years to come.  Dick Robelotto, Volunteer Driver

I enjoy my role as a volunteer with Bethlehem Seniors for many reasons and none that I first thought of when Tony Giordano recruited me a great number of years ago. The joy of giving to those of our community that are in need of services, and who constantly tell of how much they appreciate what is offered. The fact that I have the privilege of listening to the stories of their lives is better entertainment than any TV show, and Bethlehem Seniors are now part of those lives through me.Also I have gotten to know the dedicated people that operate the Senior center and the lengths they will go to, to make sure that the lives of the seniors of Bethlehem are well informed and provided for. It's an honor to be a Bethlehem Seniors volunteer.  Jim FitzPatrick, Volunteer Driver
